The power of accessories in your personal style

When working on your personal style, many people can get caught up on the clothing items. What tops, bottoms, and outerwear should I have?

OF COURSE, having clothing items that reflect your personal style is super important!

However, that’s not the only factor. If you’re working on your style and still don’t feel complete, accessories can be the item you're missing in your wardrobe. It's a super easy way to add your personality and taste into your outfit while feeling authentic.

I believe that the real game changer is accessories. Depending on the way you accessorize an outfit, your whole vibe can change.

As an example, imagine a plain white tee and a denim jean outfit. Simple right?

Now, let’s add sneakers, a nylon cross body bag, and a baseball cap. The look can be described as casual or sporty.

Instead, let’s add a red fiddler fisherman hat, black bootie, and a black leather structured bag. This fit can be described as edgy.

Even though I believe in your clothing items needing to reflect your personal style, the real difference in an outfit can be made by accessories.

Instead of getting caught on buying clothing items, I started introducing accessories into my wardrobe. What a game changer that was. It’s such a simple process but makes a big difference in how you feel when you complete an outfit. It gave me so much confidence by adding accessories that were authentic to me.

If you want to find out what accessories can work for you, check out Basics for Your Style Catalog where I show you style basics you can have based on your style! or of course, work with me 1:1 so I can guide you in your style journey!
